response to Shrek,a Parody or a Form of retaliation

Shrek, the successful animated classic, is more than a parody. The movie shows its producer Jeffrey Katzenberg's retaliation for his ex-cooperator Miller Eisner, the Chairman of Disney. Jeffrey filed a lawsuit that charge Eisner with his taking advantage of his power to bring his friends benefit, which leads to Jeffery's loss during his tenure in Disney.
The loss annoyed Jeffery , which cause the leaving of Jeffery. After the end of his working in Disney, he set up DreamWorks with cofounders. But he seems never to let the contradiction go. The blockbuster effect of Shrek creates a long distant before Disney as it is busy with making many sequels to its former successful movies.And the context of the cartoon also shows Jeffery's satire about Eisner. The villain, Lord Farquaad, is three feet, which is a payback for Eisner once making fun of his short height as the word" the little midget". Jeffery ridicules Eisner's judging people by appearance. It is also the main idea of the movie: we need to know who we are ,what is our strength, and in this way, we need to love ourselves. Whether you are a princess,or you just  are a big, green, stinky ogre like Shrek, you can find your own love and happiness.

Response to Insights From Cinderella Story

Cinderella seems to be the naive bed story for young dreamy girl, but it actually are rich with symbolism lurking beneath the surface.
Beginning with the bereavement, Cinderella lost her only dependence while she already spent the young childhood without the image of mother. This represents a lack of inner sense of safety and self-acceptance.when the step mother start to slave the heroine, these fear and disturbance become real ,and the protagonist fell into our fears and self-rejection.Thenhere comes the helpershe can not always be kind and direct assistance provider, but it’s a symbol that people always have their allies, and in deeper aspect, it  indicates that these precious qualities come forward at crucial moment. The ball elements also are symbolical. The announcement by the king to invite all eligible woman show there is always hope for stepping into the higher level. The elegant dress shows that we each have an inner elegance and a noble quality to claim. After that ,the inner characteristics do promote the process from rags to royalty. Firstly, the Cinderella do the chores, which means that she should clean the ash and that’s the reason she is given the derisive nickname. To some extent, it represent the clearly about grief. Secondly, Compared with her step sisters, she watches out for her own ability to indulge crass motivation as she is beautiful. Finally, the attitude she faces with her miserable life is remarkable. When suffering the loss, she tires to cope with the issue and she brides her time as she has faith for herself.

Response to the Why the Marriage Plot Need Never Get OLd

Marriage does serve a important role in present the main idea of the novel or other literature works,  it can be a happy ending for the heroine in the distress, but it can also be the beginning of the miserable life of the diva. The marriage plot seems never to get old for writers like Jane Austin, and Gustave Flaubert.
Jane Austin writes Emma as Gustave Flaubert writes Madame Bovary. The two heroine share the same name Emma, but their life is totally different .The former one is just like all the happy fairy tales, Emma finds her true love, the always companion, Mr Knightly, rather than the temporary romance image of Frank Churchill because he is young and handsome. The marriage shows the self-cognition of his love for Mr.Knightly but the inner respect for good characteristics.
However the latter Emma is not so lucky. She has affairs with so many men, and she does marry to fulfill her love, but the result disappoints her as the marriage becomes the tomb for love. The once gentle and attractive true love becomes indifferent about her and her marriage break into pieces. However, Madame believes the existence of her true love, so she steps into the process of finding her next Prince Charming. Finally, these loves are so weak that Madame Bovary have no choice but to suicide to fulfill her destiny of chasing love to some extent.

response to the Rupaul's, Big Freedia, and the Mainstreaming of the Gender Performance

Drag queens, the men using heavy make up and dress colorful uniforms, used to be despised by the mainstreaming of people, however, it's now kind of mainstreaming fashion.
Ru Paul, one of the most famous founders of the drag queens' showbring the ideological trend of man's performing femininity in the stage. It's weird that such a man who rebel against orthodoxy should have a assignable influence in the whole nation. He is an actual supermodel, a billboard-charting singer, and a media mogul. He has her own reality show, Ru Paul's Drag Race, which promote the trend of drag queen as he preaches always. Her talent, nerve,uniqueness,charisma no matter in music or business, bring and prosper the spectrum of male- to- female performance and femininity into mainstream popular culture.
Enter Big Freedia, also a incrediblely talented trans singer and rapper, follows the step of Ru Paul. He gained major attention with her guest spot on RuPaul's 2013 single" Peanut Butter". They share so many as Ru Paul is the founder of the trend and Freedia is the continuator.

We need to embrace the changeable society, so it's not strange for us to visual the gender roles's switch. What we really need to do is to provide a huge space for gender-variant performers.

Response to the Cinderella and Feminism

Cinderella and other trandtionl fairy tales are woderfull companion in little girl's childhood. They make young girls believe once you have a golden heart you can meet you meantlly true love, or more materialisticly, the charming prince. Actually, however, those stories promote the establishment of the normality of men's dominance in the society in people's mind since it's easier to  accept the concept when people are naive and young.
Cinderella also make a comparison to strenghten the gender of role, particularly feminism. The step-mother is dark and unattractive in physical appearence as well as the evil innerself. Cinderella, the herione is passive when she is maltreated by  the evil step-mother. Indeed, the society asks Cinderella to be passive and weak, as her weakness badgers  the showing up of the prince. The society reinforce the figure of girl's being passive, fragile, and at the same time, stress the man-donmiant situation.
